CRESCENT MOON
Is a film about someone one woman's inspiration in her partner and the difficulty she has believing in her own abilities when distance is put between the two of them.
It's a drama and aimed at a broad but predominantly female audience. With this film I wanted to put real effort into the elements included. The three that I'm concentrating on the most are: Story, style and animation.
With this film I want to improve upon my undergraduate film where I felt as though I constructed a difficult story and the concept didn't translate to many. This year I wanted to focus on making my story telling stronger. In addition to that I am very interested in improving my skills as an animator and I wanted to focus on the relationship between good animating and good storytelling. My final aim is about tying my illustrative style to my animation style. I wish to find a way to create the same effect in my animated work that is popular in my illustrations. These are the aims I have outlines for myself for this academic year.
At the beginning of the year I constructed for myself a timetable of aims and deadlines to achieve in order to keep me on track, as well as developing a short manifesto to work by in order to achieve my aims to the best of my abilities.

So with all that said, time to talk about the film.
